The installers will never work everyone due to the different versions of windows and locations of the folders, the Company installers will never work and it is definitely not their fault, but Nerseus has it correct in his forum post! You have to locate the Autodesk 3ds Max folder and copy and paste the cal3d.dll in the main folder and the cal3d.dle in the plugins folder. Even the desktop app is in a different location, oh my!

What I do really like about the installers though is all the files are organized for you so that is awesome. Thank you techies and try not to let those naughties get to you. Om and smiles! I do have a question. It doesn't show up as an install, so the only way to uninstall the exporter plugins is to hope you know where they were installed at? Would be nice to have an ability to uninstall. Edit: Also will not install if your 3ds Max is running. For anyone wondering. I think it's a good thing to have all the necessary files in one installer. A problem i see for now is dropbox. It requires us to sign up with that service prior to be able to download, which normally should be no problem, but i am sure that there are many users who don't wan't to sign up to a service for only one download. Is there a possibility to download the file from an IMVU server too? Maybe in future? Edit to add: i finally was able to download the file.

So i unzipped it to a folder and saw that i must unzip it again in that folder. So it is unnecessarily packed two times. Just for your info. Furthermore it would be good to manually choose a path by oneself. It automatically installs it to my desktop which i don't prefer. It also would be good to have checkboxes for the files we wish to install, rather than clicking on each button. Just a thought.

I also saw that we must confirm several times that files have been installed. For example if we install the furniture files we need to close several windows manually by hand, which seems to be not very handy. Survey has been made. Dropbox doesnt force you to sign in in order to download, I do agree though it would have been better to have these files hosted on the imvu server, but since so many people like to use and share dropbox, this might be the reason. I do use autodesk max 2016 suscription with the new exporter installation that imvu provided and where you do not have the need to move the dll etc manually.
