Pros: I bought this for use for my PS4 and it works great! It's easy to use, set up, format and there's more memory than you would expect after formatting. Cons: No complaints, just one thing if any have to be mentioned. It has to be directly plugged it, it cannot be plugged using an extension of any kind, such as a port hub, convertor or usb extension cord but it makes total sense and makes it safer for use and avoids data corruption that way. Other Thoughts: It is possible that it can be used on a port hub as it was recognized and available when I tried it but it did have it's issues. I would advise against using anything to extend the reach or port space as it should be plugged directly.
If you can manage to use it that way anyway, more power to you and good luck. Otherwise, I love it! It's done wonders for me and I have more space than I know what to do with.
Call me crazy but I'm tempted to get another one XD. Pros: - Fast transfer speeds (USB 3.0 100MB/s) -Arrived days before I expected it to.5TB is an insane amount of space to have. I'll have fun filling this up with 4K footage:) -No power cord.
Only one cable that can only fit one way provides PC connection and power.What else can I say but I love this drive. Cons: Only a con for me as I wanted to install Windows 7 on the drive and am running into many problems, but those are Windows limitations (Hard to install to a USB drive and once installed, won't see more than 2 TB ) and have nothing to do with drive performance. Other Thoughts: Thoughts: I would get another one to store files on temporarily, but keeping 5TB of data in one place is scary and I wouldn't use this drive as a backup as I have read that they do have a high% of failure.
