This is an amazing extension, really beautiful as well. Great use of iOS and Lion themes/styles, very well done. Some suggestions I have: Add the spring animation to when switching to the next song, either have the text spring with the album art fixed, or both spring up.
Another suggestion I have is creating a mini-corner based version of this. I could work up some concepts to get a better understanding of what I mean.
Still, by far my favorite. If this could be integrated with your iOS 5 style theme for notifications, it would be even more amazing.
